Free dry camping area in the Kofa NWR south of Quartzsite. No amenities! Approximately 8 miles south of Quartzsite. Between Yuma and Quartzsite, Arizona on Hwy 95 @ milepost 95. You will see the sign for Crystal Hill. Once you do, take the dirt road east for three miles. You will come to an information board. Go three more miles on the same road. Crystal Hill will be on your left.
Crystal Hill has just that, crystals! You are allowed to collect the quartz crystals without the aid of tools. No digging!

The Quartzsite Historical Society manages the local museum and meets in the Quartzsite city library. Admission to the museum is free but donations are accepted and helpful. Parking in the back.
They also have field trips which are interesting and provide more than just going on your own.

Great pizza and sports on TV. Usually very crowded with a waiting line but worth it.
