Free RV and tent camping about 20 miles south of Quartzsite. No facilities. The road in is dirt and 5 miles from a paved road. Expect a little washboard. Open year-round. There are 6-15 campsites at this location along the road to the trailhead with tent camping at the trailhead and the maximum RV length is any. There is a camphost on site and all campers must register with them.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars hosts public fairs, dinners, parades, etc.
There is a charge for dump and water service if you are not staying at this RV park.
Since 1968, the Quartzsite Roadrunners Gem and Mineral Club has been meeting and teaching classes behind La Mesa RV at 65 Ironwood. The cost to join is $15.00 for the season from November to April 1. Along with social functions, you can take inexpensive classes to learn lapidary, opal cutting, basket making, knapping, wire wrapping, casting, beading and much more.
Located about six miles West of Quartzsite off of I- 10. Take I10 West from Quartzsite to the Dome Rock exit. The camping area is south of I- 10. This is a free camping area with a 14 day limit. Pick any patch of ground you like.
