Free dry camping area in the Kofa NWR south of Quartzsite. No amenities! Approximately 8 miles south of Quartzsite. Between Yuma and Quartzsite, Arizona on Hwy 95 @ milepost 95. You will see the sign for Crystal Hill. Once you do, take the dirt road east for three miles. You will come to an information board. Go three more miles on the same road. Crystal Hill will be on your left.
Crystal Hill has just that, crystals! You are allowed to collect the quartz crystals without the aid of tools. No digging!
88 Shades RV Park is the best value for the amenities and location in Quartzsite. We have a recreation hall with daily activities, shuffleboard, library, RV wash, oil change station, propane, and a dog walk and ‘off leash’ area. We also have top-notch lapidary (stone cutting and polishing) equipment available for guest use with weekly classes.
Our attractive, clean sites are in high demand during the balmy ‘snowbird’ season. Each of our spacious sites offer electricity, water, sewer, internet, and cable. Majestic palm trees add splendor and fruit trees ripe with juicy orange, tangello, and grape fruits welcome you with the sunrise each morning at 88 Shades RV Park.
Look for the dangling fish. Sites are very tight and there are many permanent residents but they have a good winter deal and fun clubhouse activities.
