Escapees RV club geocachers have released their tentative schedule to get together at Quartzsite in January during the annual RV swap meet. To participate, you can join the Escapees club and get information on the Geocacher Birds Of [of] a Feather (BOF) group at the Escapees booth in the Big Tent during the RV show at the end of January or if you join online or are already an Escapees member, contact Sue Pace at skpgeocachebof at gmail.com before then. The annual Geocache BOF Rally will be held Jan. 27-31, 2013 in the Dome Rock area west of Quartzsite. Besides some fun geocaching, there will be seminars, games, a potluck, door prizes, happy hours, socializing, etc. The event is free but donations to help with expenses are certainly welcomed.
Directions: Take frontage road west from Love’s Truck Stop to the intersection of Dome Rock Road and Cholla Road. Look for BOF Signage at each turn.
